Five Guiding Principles
1. Certainty kills. Doubts delay. Both have their place.
2. Kites only rebel against the wind by breaking.
3. No matter how hard folks work to make a train go, the tracks are the important bit.
4. It’s tempting to believe resentment masquerades as self-awareness. It doesn’t.
5. Because your eye can’t see your other eye, you need a mirror to see your eyes. So you don’t see your eyes. You see a reflection of your eyes. Only others see your actual eyes.
Masking
For the ICE out of the Bay Neighborhood Assemblies
they do it cuz they’re scared of love,
and those of us who hate them.
they feel no shame. they take pride
in their fear. for them it stands for love.
we do it cuz we like life and we know
they want to kill us.
to hate them as a verb we have to
hide, love makes us do that.
