Another One's Gone, Again

Another one's gone, blown away, and now, another one's gone, and another today.
Another cop's gun drawn with no price to pay, more may go, but we ain't going away!
Another one gone, and they go free. We all saw the video: looked like murder to me.
Yet, justice will be denied with no need for a plea… freed by some friendly judge or vindicated by a grand jury.
And another one's gone for all to see.
The perps just want you
to believe their lie.
"No reason or cause to indict," or the "I was in fear for my life" alibi.
So the carnage goes on,
another body collided lying in the street.
A car accident victim shot for mistaken identity.
Choked to death in New York, a massive media frenzy.
A traffic stop in Minnesota bore deadly consequences.
Killed in a project stairwell, cut down in a train station named Fruitvale.
Shot dead in a park at the age of twelve...another at fourteen.
Will it ever end? If so, when?
But for right now face down, bleeding out on the hard cold ground...
Another One's Gone, Again!
